Very poor craftsmanship.Dinette slide has failed on many occasions .Dealer ordered parts over a month ago ,well, camping season almost finished here.So we try and use the trailer with no slide out.Trying to remain positive because it was a major investment , but , losing my cool.The seams are coming apart on the panels under the bedroom outside , dealer thought silicone was the answer, not working.Main entrance door hinges binding , i have... Haven't received an "update" in more than a week. I don't want this piece of junk back. I want a full refund plus finance charges. This has been a disaster. In the 41 days that the RV was at the Manteca Trailer and RV dealership, they detected additional problems necessitating the replacement of the solenoid. would like to thank Jayco for the wiring holes left in frame for the mice to enter,and the turds,mice urine,holes eaten in the flour,popcorn,dried peas,beans,the list could go on,you get the point,how much more does it take to really build a quality product?thank you very much,almost forgot to mention the floor is sqeaking ,as in not securely attached to the floor joists-framing,you can see just about every plywood joint,because the vinyl has... How would you start...Everything needs to improve with the unit. Large slide out leeks due to seal issues, Inside Lights last about a week, Generator runs whenever it feels up to it. Driving seats are very uncomfortable for trips over 100 miles, The air conditioner in the front is useless you keep adding R134 to it. Leveling jacks leak and need to relevel the unit every 2 days. Purchashed in Portland Oregon in Feb 2015. Bought through Camping World Troutdale at the show. used so far 8 trips Norcold refer will not get cold 30 amp fuse at the battery has now blown twice--why? Wate rheater exhaust vent blackend and burnt the outside of the trailer. Not sure if it still works Power jack--cause the battery connection was blown would not work. I don't even know where to begin. This RV is utter ***. We have had it for one year and it is falling apart daily. Molding, cabinet doors, etc. falling off as others have said, large slide stopped working, window and vent mechanisms stopped working, all kinds of exterior molding coming off, fridge quit working twice (not to mention it came from the factory unable to run off of propane), door handles locking up or not working properly,... 07/28/16 Bought a 2016 Jayco in West Seneca N.Y. Battery replaced before we could dewinterize it. Wall to frame trailer bolts backed off 1/2 inch, afraid to move it. Hot water runs into cold water. Sink drain missing in bathroom. Crank/fan window over bath floor instead of over bathtub. Antenna shaft white metal broke after one use. Screw stripped below frig. I have had a 2014 Grewhawk for two years and have had it in the shop for about 6 months! The issues range from the door lock, levelers, blown battery in the first 9 months and now I have sent it back to the factory (800 miles away) for water leakage, floor squeaks and slide gasket issues. To: Service Manager at Manteca, CA RV As we discussed, when you called me regarding the problems with this Precept, this is a copy of the letter I am sending to Roger Johnson, Jayco Customer Service Manager. The telephone number that you gave me - which happen to be the same one in the Precept Manual - was incorrect and applied only to tow trailers.
