Jayco Senec 37Tc 2017 Review from Williamstown, Kentucky

We were looking to buy a rv in 2004, went to couple dealer & every jayco unit we looked at had so many visible quality issues (trim nailed but missed the frame so it was falling off, drawers crocked & not shutting, rails were put in crocked), & dealer said it was...

2015 Jayco - Eagle 339flqs Rv Review from Orlando, Florida

2015 Jayco - Eagle 339flqs Rv Review from Orlando, Florida
We purchased a brand new Jayco FLQS in April 2016. It was in the shop for warranty work for 9 days. One of the few things thing that they "repaired" during those 9 days was lubricate the slide out mechanism. The manager of towable warranty repair called and said that...

Update

RVONE in Zorlando said that they repaired the slide. They leveled it, “patched the roof and scored it back together.

This summer, we were camping. Everyone was getting sick. Throwing up, sinus infections, upper respiratory infections. In early August, my husband called an ambulance because I couldn’t breathe well.

I was in the hospital for several days. There was mold in the bedroom & all of the air ducts. RVONE would not hire a mild expert but instead purchased a mold test from Home Depot & did it themselves. We also found out that the living room floor had not been screwed down.

Tried to have Jayco replace or buy back our unit. They refused. Also, a tire blew with less than 1,000 miles on it.

Jayco has offered to replace the tire & repair the exterior. On Monday, I am contacting Florida’s Consumer Complaint Office & will need to hire an attorney.

Jayco Hybrid 2016

The unit I purchased did not have the stabilizer/scissor jacks mounted on the front. I was told from Customer Service that was the way they came from the factory and couldn't do anything about it. Without the jacks the front end is quite unstable. I also found that the 2015 and 2017 models as such do have the necessary jacks so go figure. I have yet to find any trailer that does not have the required jacks. Appears as though JAYCO is being very misleading on this and they should have be issuing a re-call to correct the problem. Not at all impressed with the way the Costumer Service dept. handled this and basically left me with the impression that it was not their responsibility. Rick Adams, Kanata, ON, Canada

Jayco Flight SLX 154BH

We purchased a 2016 Jayco Flight SLX 154BH in April 2016 from Camping World of Macon Ga. We have had nothing but problems from this unit, the biggest being leaks. It leaked through the front window, antenna, kitchen and bathroom windows. Kitchen faucet messed up, battery wire would never hold charge, table broke, boards under bunk beds and main bed both were broke. We just got it out of the shop after 7 weeks and supposedly the leaks were fixed, I have my doubts about this. Jayco you should be ashamed to put this unit on the market for resale.

2015 Jayco Seismic 3812

Very poor craftsmanship.Dinette slide has failed on many occasions .Dealer ordered parts over a month ago ,well, camping season almost finished here.So we try and use the trailer with no slide out.Trying to remain positive because it was a major investment , but , losing my cool. The seams are coming apart on the panels under the bedroom outside , dealer thought silicone was the answer, not working.Main entrance door hinges binding , i have lubricated many times , and the dealer , still wakes the whole campground when opening or closing.Onan generator only works when it want to from new , it has a whole 7 hours.Front jacks work when they want to , therefore it stays hooked up to my tow vehicle.Sinks were not sealed from factory and leaks from various water fittings.I could go on and on.My advice.... shop around research on these campers, trailer and motorhomes. If i knew Jayco had such a horrible track record i surely would have picked another brand.

Resolved: Poor Quality Product - #NeverBuyAJayco

Haven't received an "update" in more than a week. I don't want this piece of junk back. I want a full refund plus finance charges. This has been a disaster. In the 41 days that the RV was at the Manteca Trailer and RV dealership, they detected additional problems necessitating the replacement of the solenoid. Since this did not correct the refrigerator LOdc problem, two new batteries were installed. They also replaced the driver side window and new keyless entry lock, as the first one never was able to be programmed. August 19, 2016 Update: Since the 2016 had been at Manteca RV since June 30, 2016, we were told that we could take it out on another trip, while we are still waiting for more of the warranty problems to be corrected. We never heard directly from Roger Johnson, or anyone else at Jayco in Indiana. On our four day trip to Southern Oregon from California, approximately 600 miles total, the following new problems were noted: Navigation system did not work. The play in the steering wheel has been problematic since Day 1, necessitating a constant moving of the steering wheel to the right and left to keep the RV tracking straight on the road. As we drove up Highway 5 in CA, we started hearing a loud popping, ping sound, as if a bolt had snapped. This happened approximately seven times over the length of the trip. The sound was located in the front passenger side area. Refrigerator ran continuously in propane mode, never stopping. The LOdc error message periodically flashed on the refrigerator. The front air conditioning unit did not cool the below 95 degrees, even though unit and the Cummins generator ran continuously all evening. The windshield wiper on the driver side skipped over the front window about 6 inches at a skip and was not adequate to cover the size of the window, even if it hadn't skipped. The passenger side wiper skipped but not the degree that the driver side did. Bathroom medicine cabinet backing inside detached. It was only held in place with silicone to begin with. Wind squeaks returned to driver side new window, as well as passenger side window, window in exit door and gasket area on passenger side slide-out The USB ports and plugs are only operative when the generator is running, not when the motor is running. I could only charge my cellphone by using the cigarette lighter socket. The Auto Level Retractor only registered that the left front and left side as retracted. The light stayed lit for rear and right side, necessitating that we exit the RV to confirm that they were, in fact, retracted. The generator showed an error message 35. On our first day out, when we returned to the motor home, the only door in or out of the unit was jammed. We struggled for 1-1/2 hours before my husband finally gave one BIG pull and the door popped open. After that, we still had difficulty opening the door from the inside. We would have to sit on the inside top step and push with all our might to get the door to open. The plastic trim on the kitchen cabinet shelves is not attached and has started to detach. Manteca Trailer and RV picked up the RV this morning. It is unknown when this very poor quality RV will be "fixed." I am in the process of pursuing the California Lemon Law. Please, please, please, never buy a Jayco product. False advertising. They are not made by the Amish and there is not Amish craftsmanship - just cheap quality. Even the handles on the cabinets are at an angle, not level. Like looking at crooked pictures on a wall. Jayco Mission Statement: At Jayco, our mission statement is: Committed to being the most respected name in recreation vehicles. We will consistently build a high quality, high value, competitively priced product at acceptable margins, treat every situation with the highest level of integrity in a timely manner, and continually work to reduce total cost to achieve acceptable returns.

I think you will find if you run the slide all the way out and all the way in when you operate it, it will help prevent the slide from becoming out of sinc.
