Camping World, another notoriously underhanded business shares responsibility in this too. This piece of absolute JUNK was delivered brand new to me (cost 22k) with so many defects it is like something out of a weird dream. First of all, it had a gas leak! That is...Read more
Jayco - Nothing but staples
bed frame is put together with nothing but staples and a thing metal band around the corners 2nd trip out the bed started to fall apart had to run out to home depot and get some angle brackets and screws to put it back together so we could sleep on it, should have looked at it more closely before buying as the whole trailer is built pretty *** this is our first trailer and thought Jayco was pretty reputable they do have a 2 year warranty on all parts and workmanship but doers no good when you are out in the boonies. my trailer is the Baja edition with the off road package so you think it would have been at least built with screws not staples. look closely before you purchase
We purchased a brand new Jayco seismic 4212 fifth wheel trailer in the fall of 2015 from a reputable dealership in the lower mainland of British Columbia. After our five hundred mile trip home we found structural defects with sliding doors fallen off in master bedroom...Read more
I didn't like
- Cheap out on warranty clams
2013 Jayco eagle premier.
After buying this camper used, within 2 moths of owing it the sidewalls and back showed serious signs of paint fade! The front cap has clearly been fixed. If Jayco knew the pint quality was *** then why didn’t they fix the problem!! The dealership clearly polished the camper to hide all the blemishes. I would not have purchased this camper had we known it was covered up. So disgusted. We paid a lot of money for this Rv and it looks like trash. Jayco should make this right!!!
Purchased 2016 jayco jayfeather 23rlsw new. Had a few problems 1st year( bathroom fan motor burnt out, could not keep light in refrigerator working, heater would not cycle properly and inlays in cupboard doors keep popping loose)nothing earth shattering but decidedly...Read more
Jayco - Disappointed
11-14-18 drove away from b&b in anderson, ca. With a 2019 25ft. Trailer to live in after we lost our town & home in paradise, ca. Paid cash. Bought an xtra warranty for 7 yrs. Since then we have had the heater go out 3 times. Repaired twice. Last attempt was 12-24-18. Was told part would be ordered. As of today still no part. Mgr in parts in anderson said nothing more he can do. We have had heat 24 days in our NEW trailer. Both 65. Parked in the street. Very cold. Cant use portable heater. No 220. Ready to take trailer back and get refund. Very unhappy with this company. Husband was on hold to main office in indiana this morning for 1 hr 45 min.
Jayco in Temecula, California - Own a 2015 35 Un and this is a wonderful product
I read this writers so called endless list of problems with his 35un. Clearly this fellow knows nothing about operating an rv- stupidly hooking a hose to the black tank wash out and letting the tank fill completely and then stepping on the toilet flush would definitely result in a plume of black water shooting out of the toilet. Could not stop laughing. Most of his complaints are a result of ignorance on operating the coach. We have driven our 35un with very little issues - changed a transfer switch and replaced the *** mattress but overall it has been a good product. We just completed a 2500 mile run without any issues and we were driving 400miles a day. You should not own an rv - stick with hotels —-
Jayco in Omak, Washington - I bought a lemon!
I bought a Jaco baja edition 2017 love the set up! But its falling apart everywhere on the inside closet bottoms both side fell out completely, the master bed bed fell into to storage compartment only inserted three screws, the heat vent snags every time you pull in the slide out water leaks everywhere, awning arms motor side snag ans bent the arm and twisted the other, screw coming out of all cupboards, vent fan above oven installed upside down,
Jayco was great. Then Thor bought it.
I have owned many great Jayco RVs. I was planning to buy a new 29V. After teading all the complaints concerning steering and other issues, I think I will pass. Sounds like Thor had "Thor-oughly" ruined Jayco just like they did a lot of other great companies they bought. One Thor eas enough for me. Look pretty good but are junk. Too bad.
Jayco - Customer replays
Is it just me or dose Jayco even care about all these problems. I see no response on any issues for the company. One of their biggest problems is letting Camper World sell or TRY to work on them
Do you have something to say about Jayco? What happened? What can we help you with?
