Water leak

I had a water leak behind my control center. They did contact me via email and they also contacted the dealer where my coach was in for repair.

User's recommendation: Email or call jayco directly. Don't wait for the dealership to do it.

Refused to repair my Camper with out taking 6 to 8 weeks before they even look at it.

I had to do my own repairs, and warranty work because JAYCO wanted to keep my camper 6 to 8 weeks to just look at it. The furnace went bad and they stated until they got new propane regulators they would not fix it. Still have not heard a word from them. Had to do the repairs myself. Makes my wonder why I pay for a warranty when it really does no good.

User's recommendation: Will not make one, you dont care anyway.

Multiple failure on 2018 greyhawk

Entire 120 volt electrical panel melted and failed. the rig could have caught fire, but we were lucky to be there and shut it down at the pedestal. They fixed it under warranty but it was a build failure that any decent QC checks would have uncovered.

User's recommendation: Check all electrical connects in your panel and tighten them down well.

Our 2017 Jayco Pinnacle fiver

Took delivery of our new Jayco Pinnacle 36FBTS fiver last August 2017. Our dealer (Whitehorse RV, Williamstown, NJ) did an exceptional job of prepping our trailer and included a 2 hour walk through, morning of delivery. Brought limited supplies with us to go directly to a campground approx 1/2 hour from our dealer ....just to be sure everything was ok. By the end of our first 3 day outing, we compiled a list of 14 issues (ie: broken antenna wire, trim moldings coming loose, drawer track broke loose, stove wouldn’t light, wrong springs on axels and all tires were rubbing the top of wheel wells, over packed wheels bearings which allowed grease to pass into brake drums ...which in turn coated the brake shoes thus the excitement of having no brakes, 3” PVC toilet drain flange 1” above finished floor so toilet rocked and couldn’t be used ...thankful we also have the other 1/2 bath, defective crossover breaker for generator keep shutting down our entire 50 amp service when plugged in at site, broken light fixture over kitchen tablE ....and a few other issues that escape me now). I fixed 10 of the 14 items myself with the elec. breaker, springs and brake issues left to my dealer. I authorized the dealer to send me the new parts for the things that I could handle since I live 2 hours away, and took my fiver to them to complete their work. Over a course of 8 months (5 months in my possession & 3 months in theirs), ALL issues were eventually resolved. We scheduled their warranty work during the winter months that we wouldn’t be using it anyway My dealer (Whitehorse RV) was absolutely GREAT through the entire process ...especially Service Mgr. Steve ...always returned phone calls, and him calling me weekly with constant updates. Jayco & my dealer stood behind their product and fixed everything to my satisfaction. NO, Jayco isin’t as as good as they used to be and the quality & craftsmanship noticeably down, but for now we have no problems ....and they have honered all warranty work. So for now, we are a satisfied Jayco customer.

Poor quality control

The first trip I took in my Jaco 264BHW we found that the radio did not work, the screen door did not latch and the front door hit the door frame. The caulking covering the staples on the walls inside was very sloppy done, no concern about appearance. The caulking on the outside was very sloppy also. I was told that all the appliances manuals were in the trailer but could not find any to learn how to use the appliances. We started the refrigerator on the house power, then turned to propane when we left for the trip. We got to the camp site to find out that everything in the refrigerator was hot. We had no idea what happened till we got home and was told by a neighbor how we were to turn it to propane. I took the trailer back to the dealer to explain everything and the service person did not seem like he cared about anything. He told be that if I wanted manuals I would have to call Jayco and have them send them to me. The caulking I would have to live with it. Told me to make a list of everything and when I bring the trailer back to have the awning fixed they would work on everything else. I would like to be able to use it and have everything work. NOT a very happy camper.

Useless sewer hose storage in the X178Z

Bought my new X17Z and started buying things I would need to outfit the camper. I discovered the useless sewer hose storage area. Why even bother with a 3 ft DEEP, 4 inch CIRCULAR storage area? Why not make the storage area run the length of the trailer or a minimum of...

Jayco Rv Review from Santa Clara, California

I owned a Jayco 184bh Baja edition, fantastic trailer no issues what so ever. It was our first trailer, no issues everything worked great, we traded it in for a Jayco jay feather 7 22BHM because our family truly out grew it. We went with Jayco because for the price the quality is there, if people are expecting caviar taste on a cheese burger budget then look else where; but if your looking for the best bang for buck travel trailer Jayco is the way to go....... no issues from me and my family we love our Jayco.

Dont assume anything

We looked at a 2016 Jayco Seismic 4112. Decided on it. Found out that the model we paid for didn't come with steps on the back deck/ramp. The steps only come with the 2016 delivered after Jan 1, 2016. Would have been nice to know before we signed the paperwork. Dealer is more than happy to SELL me the steps. Jayco wont provide the steps because rules are rules. Ticket price of the camper? $105,000.00 cheap, lying jerks. You need to verify every last detail, every last feature, everything! Jayco nor the dealer have no need to do what is right after they got your money in their hands.

i have just purchased a 2016 and have never seen so many problems. first switch that transfers power from generator to coach burned up at the dealers lot when i was picking it up.
